Why Accessibility Matters
Accessibility is both a moral imperative and a business opportunity.
Globally, roughly 16% of the population lives with some form of disability. [1]
The top disabilities by population include:

This number continues to grow. Accessibility isn’t only about the present, it’s an investment in the future.

- More people are being diagnosed due to advancements in research and societal awareness. As more people understand their conditions, this furthers the need for accessible design. [6]
- Life expectancies are on the rise, leading to a growing elderly population. Over 65 years of age, the likelihood of developing a disability increases to over 40%. [7]
Accessible design attracts new audiences, and retains loyal fans as they age. This positions your company as inclusive and sustainable.
